A relationship-based approach to development<\/h2>\n

Since autism is a developmental disorder and human development consists of live growth processes, obviously children with autistic-like behaviors or an autism diagnosis can also develop and make good progress. Autistic behaviors are often based on underlyin<\/span>g individual differences in self-regulation, perception, feelings and relationship skills. When we focus our attention on this, rather than on externally observed behaviors, our approach changes\u00a0<\/span>with good prospects for positive progress.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a relationship-based developmental approach to autism our focus is on the child as an individual<\/strong> and as a family member, - not his autism or other diagnoses<\/strong>. Gemeinsam mit Eltern und Familie versuchen wir anhand von Spielen und Kommunikation, die auf den Entwicklungsstand des Kindes angepasst sind, dem Kind zu helfen, 'die Entwicklungsleiter hochzuklettern' und seine menschlichen F\u00e4higkeiten zu liebevollen Beziehungen, spielerischen Interaktionen, Symbolspiel und Sprache zu entwickeln.\u00a0Denn Menschen sind f\u00fcr Beziehungen und soziale Interaktion mit einem menschlichen Gegen\u00fcber gemacht!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Parents are the Cornerstone for Change<\/h2>\n

Parents, by nature, know their child best. As the primary caregiver, they play the most important role in making a difference. Developmental disorders, whether autistic behaviors, communication or relationship difficulties, affect the entire family, not just the child.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

When parents receive individual guidance and support on how to actively respond to their child and their special needs at home, positive developments in the child and family result.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
