Your participation does not entitle you to represent yourself as a DIRFloortime provider. You agree that this course does not then qualify you to become a DIRFloortime provider.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><strong>Curriculum and prerequisites<\/strong><br \/><span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\">There are some prerequisites to successfully complete this course. It is the responsibility of the participants to follow the syllabus ( <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icdl.com\/courses\/curriculum\">https:\/\/www.icdl.com\/courses\/curriculum<\/a> ) to know and be prepared:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"n8H08c UVNKR\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><span>Attend class in person on a device with a camera so you can be seen in class and share your screen as needed. <\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><span>written consent form to videotape your Floortime sessions with a child and share in class.<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" class=\"TYR86d wXCUfe zfr3Q\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">upload the videos you recorded from your sessions to Youtube or Vimeo and share the link with the group and teachers on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.floortime.org\">www.floortime.org<\/a> (ICDL's Moodle-Website) zu teilen. <\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" class=\"TYR86d wXCUfe zfr3Q\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Participation in the agreed presentation times<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" class=\"TYR86d wXCUfe zfr3Q\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Participate in feedback sessions when provided by instructors\/training managers. <\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" class=\"TYR86d wXCUfe zfr3Q\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Complete required lierature, forum posts, and other course learning activities.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong style=\"font-size: xx-large;\"><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong style=\"font-size: xx-large;\"><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong style=\"font-size: xx-large;\">Confidentiality agreement for course participants<\/strong><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\">In order to enhance and refine your Floortime skills, this course includes the requirement to videotape and view videos of fellow students working with children, parents, professionals, and\/ or other caregivers. The parents of these children have generously agreed to give permission to video record for this purpose. In addition, you may view and discuss videos of other parents, children, and professionals whose identities may be known to you. Because this is personal health information, a high level of confidentiality is required. Please read and sign below:<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li><span>I agree to abide by all video recording policies provided by course instructors, including: obtaining video and video recording permissions, marking videos, referencing a child viewed on video, handling, storing and sharing videos, and final disposal of videos.<\/span><span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>I agree to keep confidential all information about individuals viewed on video or discussed in this course.<span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>I agree that I will only use the specified platforms (Moodle, Zoom, Vimeo, or YouTube) in the manner specified in the DIRFloortime training program policies and will NOT use email to share video links, PowerPoint presentations, video consent forms, or other documents that contain private, confidential, and\/or identifying information. I understand that email is not a secure form of transmitting confidential information.<span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>I agree that all information shared in class or on the Moodle site is confidential and will not be shared in any way with others outside of the classroom without the express written consent of the DIRFloortime Training Program.<\/li>\n<li>I have carefully read and reviewed this Student Confidentiality Agreement.<\/li>\n<li>I fully understand and voluntarily agree to all items. By completing the registration for this course, I agree to all terms and conditions by signing this document.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><span><strong><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><span><strong><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><span><strong>Declaration of consent<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">I understand that the DIRFloortime program does not qualify, license or otherwise certify me to work in any manner that I am not already qualified, licensed or otherwise certified by the appropriate local, state, national or other entity responsible for that qualification.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><span>I further understand that the DIRFloortime Training Program is an educational program for individuals to demonstrate competencies in DIRFloortime theory and practice. It teaches how to work with different children and with individuals with different profiles in different settings. The certificate program includes 5 core courses with certificates of competency upon successful completion of each course from DIR 201.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><span>DIR 201 is for beginners to DIRFloortime practice to learn the basics of DIRFloortime. The focus of this course is on Functional Emotional Development Skills 1-4. Successful completion of this course qualifies to be called a Basic DIRFloortime provider. <\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><span>DIR 202 is designed for those who have successfully completed DIR 201 and wish to further develop and demonstrate competency in DIRFloortime with a focus on Functional Emotional Development Skills 4, 5 &amp; 6. Successful completion of this course qualifies one to be called a Proficient DIRFloortime Provider.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><span>DIR 203 focuses on coaching parents, caregivers, and other providers. Successful completion of DIR 202 is a prerequisite for this course. Successful completion of 203 qualifies to be called Advanced DIRFloortime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\">DIR 204 A &amp; DIR 204B are the final certificate courses in the core curriculum. DIR 204A is an intensive 14- to 18-week internship in English that includes bi-weekly seminars and teaching as an intern in one of the 14-week online courses or another pre-approved on-site course. Interns are expected to be competent or learn the technology required for the online courses, give a model case presentation, meet with course training instructors, provide support and guidance to participants, and provide feedback to course participants.<\/p>\n<div class=\"module--translations-section module--translations-translated js-module--translations-translated\">\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\">Successful completion of DIR 204A entitles the student to be designated as a Training Leader and Expert DIRFloortime Provider.<\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\">DIR 204 B is an 8-week practicum course in which participants demonstrate competency through case presentation, course discussion, and written reflections. Successful completion of DIR 204B entitles a student to designate themselves as an Expert DIRFloortime.<\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\">I understand that this is an assessment-based certificate program. Therefore, I accept the evaluation of my training instructors as final. I understand that individual mentoring and supervision are strongly recommended, but not required, in order to complete this training. However, I understand that additional supervision may be necessary if I have not been able to demonstrate the competencies for the course I attended in order to further develop and strengthen my skills. I may also be recommended to receive additional supervision or mentoring to strengthen my skills before enrolling in the following course. I understand that all recommendations should be completed prior to the next course and that if I do not complete them, I may not be able to demonstrate sufficient competencies for each subsequent course.\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\">I also understand that I will need to submit 2 case studies during this course. Case studies are video recordings of yourself using Floortime with a child. By the end of DIR 201 you must have presented at least one child in your 2 case presentations, by the end of DIR 202 you must have presented at least 2 different children between the 4 case presentations in DIR 201 and 202, and by the end of DIR 203 you must have presented 3 different child cases in the 6 case presentations in DIR 201, 202, and 203. Simply put, you cannot present the same child\/family throughout your learning journey. Training directors may require that additional cases be presented beyond this minimum. In addition, also understand that you cannot present if you are working with a child who is your own or a family member.<\/div>\n<div class=\"module--translations-translatedtext js-module--translations-translatedtext\" data-size=\"s\"><\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\"><span>I acknowledge that I have carefully read Part A of this Letter of Understanding and the current DIRFloortime Continuing Education Program course descriptions, DIR 201, DIR 202, DIR 203, and DIR 204, and understand the current training objectives and requirements, and that program requirements are subject to change. The DIRFloortime\u00ae Training Program and the relationships established by and between ICDL and its students do not constitute a partnership, joint venture, franchise, agency, or employment agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\">An overview of the current basic requirements for the program can be found on our website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.icdl.com\">www.icdl.com<\/a> . ICDL reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, amend, expand or otherwise modify the requirements for its programs at any time without notice. The decision to successfully complete the certificate program requirements rests solely with ICDL. A participant with successful completion may identify themselves as a student in the DIRFloortime\u00ae Training Program.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\">I have reviewed and understand the learning objectives and requirements for this course.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" class=\"CDt4Ke zfr3Q\">I fully understand and voluntarily agree to these terms and conditions.
